I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday, and it was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were situated conveniently next to the pool, clean enough, but a bit cramped, especially the dining table. The service was top-notch with friendly and helpful staff, making me want to come back for my next visit. The location was great for our needs, being close to the airport, Historic District, and beaches; however, it lacked a downtown bustling atmosphere. Overall, the stay offered value for money with some room for improvement in certain areas.
The hotel offers good views and balconies in rooms that looked a bit run down initially. The service was top-notch, especially by my stylist HyDeia P who was very nice and helpful. The location is convenient, with easy access to Charleston's attractions. The dining experience was a bit lacking in table space but had good amenities. Overall, a worthy stay considering the value for money.
The hotel room was spacious and had more than we really needed, including a full kitchen. However, it was a bit far from the elevators and exits. The view was excellent, until the next night due to a Marriott Central booking problem.
